Facade and entrance:
The three-story house was built in 1885. The first floor facade is made of stone, the second of brick. The original slate tiles and decorative trim of the third story facade and roof have been preserved. The street is peaceful. The apartment is on the 2nd and 3rd floors and its size is 1500 square feet (140 square meters), high ceilings and hardwood floors throughout.

Kitchen (with access to terrace and courtyard):
As you enter the apartment, to your right is the completely renovated full kitchen with separate laundry area, exposed brick wall, tile backsplash, under-cabinet lighting, built-in water filter, and laminate flooring. Large appliances include a large-capacity stainless steel fridge, glasstop stove with exterior venting hood, and stainless steel dishwasher. Small appliances include microwave oven, toaster oven, drip-coffee machine, and coffee-grinder. A door to the left (pic 7) leads out to the back terrace and courtyard. A door to the back (pic 9) opens to the laundry area with large-capacity programable front-load washer and on-top dryer. Iron, ironing table, and cleaning equipment are stored here also. Tableware, cookware, coffee, tea, and spices are provided.

Office and extra bedroom (with access to balcony):
To your right as you exit the living room (or to your left as you enter the apartment), is an office that can also be used as a bedroom with a single sofa-bed. The apartment comes with wireless high-speed internet connection, and a telephone and answering machine with free local calls (A calling card would be needed for long-distance calls). The door opens to the balcony with bistro set, and a great view of Drolet street's colorful row of houses (pic 6).

Here you have the choice between two twin beds or a king (pic 5,6) which come with full sets of pillows, sheets, blankets, and comforters. This room also features a built-in closet, chest of drawers, two cube side-tables with drawers, a cozy armchair, and a window-seat with great views of downtown Montreal and Mont-Royal.

3rd bedroom:
With its comfortable queen sofa-bed (full sets of pillows, sheets, blanket and comforter provided), you can use this room as sitting-room or a 3rd bedroom. The room also features a mini-shelf with hangers for your clothes, two shelving units, and a window-seat with great views of downtown Montreal and Mont-Royal (pics 6,7). There is also an amplifier and stereo speakers with a cable for connecting to your ipod or laptop for listening to music.

Smokers are welcome to smoke outside on the terrace or balcony.
Pets are not permitted in the apartment.
To reserve the apartment:
- please email us at . If you do not hear from us within 24 hours, please try us again in case of technical problems.
- once availability is confirmed, we will email you the guest rental agreement.
- when we receive the signed guest rental agreement, as well as the advance payment (reservation deposit), which is 30% of the total rental payment, the apartment will be secured for your stay. The advance payment is not a security deposit. The advance payment can be made in the form of credit card via PayPal.
- the balance of the rent as well as a security deposit of CAD$300 are due prior to or upon check-in and may be paid in cash, traveler’s checks, or credit card via PayPal. The security deposit will be returned to you after check-out and completion of inventory and assessment of the property.
Cancellations:
- if you'd like to cancel your reservation, you must do so in writing, by fax, email or letter.
- cancellations that are made 60 days or more prior to the arrival date will incur an administrative fee of 5% of the total rental payment. The balance of the advanced payment will be returned.
- cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the arrival date will receive no refund unless the apartment is re-rented to someone else, at the same rate, for the same period. If the apartment is re-rented, an administrative fee of 5% of the total rental payment will be withheld from your advanced payment. The balance will be returned to you after full payment from the new renter is received.
Changing date of stay is on availability basis only, any differences in rate shall be at guest’s expense.

Master bedroom
Comfortable room with queen bed, ottoman, 3 drawer dresser with mirror, built-in closet, bedside tables and lights, and alarm clock. One set of linens provided and include mattress cover/pad, sheets, pillows, blanket and comforter.
2nd bedroom
Spacious and sunny room facing west. Per guest's request room can be set up with two twin beds or, alternatively, beds can be joined and topped with memory foam mattress pad for a king sized bed. Room equipped with bedside tables and lights, 3 drawer dresser with mirror, armchair, alarm clock, built-in closet. One set of linens provided per bed and include mattress cover/pad, sheets, pillows, blanket and comforter.
3rd bedroom or sitting-room
Comfortable, sunny room with queen sofa-bed, built-in shelf, 2 tall shelving units, mini clothes shelf with hangers, 2 side-tables, lampes, alarm clock, amplifier and speakers. One set of linens provided and include mattress cover/pad, sheets, pillows, blanket and comforter.
Living room
Furniture includes L-shaped sofa, leather ottoman, dimmable lighting, entertainment center with 32' cable tv and surround-sound multimedia player.
Dining room
Dining room table with seating for 8, custom banquet, dimmable lighting.
